Pentecost Sunday

This Sunday, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit given to the disciples on Pentecost. The miraculous event includes tongues of fire and speaking in tongues. Through this story, we are assured that God’s Word and the saving grace of Jesus Christ are for all nations. Jesus did not come just to save the Jews and we are not called to share the Gospel with just people who are like us. We are called to make disciples of all nations. Praise God that He has given us His Spirit to equip us for that good work.
